Materialism ftw.

Games

Every Pokémon game I own. (Look at them they're beautiful.)

All of my Pokemon games laid out on the floor, loose cartridges, besides the console games. (Kinda long sorry.) We got Red, Silver, Gold, two Crystals, Ruby, Fire Red, Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team, Pinball Ruby and Sapphire, Diamond, Platinum, Soul Silver, Ranger, Black, White, Black 2, X, Omega Ruby, Moon, Let's Go Eevee, Sword, New Snap, Shining Pearl, Legends Arceus, Snap, Hey You Pikachu, Colosseum, XD Gale of Darkness, Battle Revolution, and Pokken Tournament. And Japanese copies of Green, Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, and the TCG game.

Not pictured here: White 2 (my sister has it I think?) and Scarlet (I forgot it in my switch).
Gold is technically my sister's but I have functionally inherited it.

Why Do You Have Two Crystals?

I can't explain the decision making process here but iirc I got the second when the first's battery died. Both have functional batteries now.

Two Greens/The Weeb Shit?

I took Japanese in college. Around then I asked my mother for Green for Christmas. I did not fully realize at the time how obnoxious that request was, but she got it. More recently I have found renewed interest in learning Japanese on my own, and I ordered some books from Japan (mostly Pokémon Special). For my book purchase I was given a confoundingly generous $40 coupon, and I decided I would get Japanese Crystal with it. But I was lucky and found every gen 1 & 2 game (and the TCG game) in Japanese for what amounted to like a $5 handling fee to add it to my books.

What did you do to XD?

Trundle bed (・~・;)ゞ. The disc is perfectly healthy tho.

Toys

A handful of Pokemon plushies. The Kanto starters, Pikachu and Eevee, Smolliv, and a smaller Bulbasaur and Caterpie. Eevee and each of it's evolutions, made of Mega blocks (off-brand Legos). They're like 2 inches tall, with posable limbs. These are official merch, not some great feat of creativity. Assorted Pokemon toys, mostly small plastic figurines. There's also a couple Pokedexes, a Pikachu 2 GS, the Soul Silver Lugia figurine, bigger posable Xerneas and Yveltal figurines, a bigger Pikachu, and a metal box featuring Charmander and covered in Pokemon stickers.

If I'm ever rich I'm gonna blow so much money buying huge lots of those little TOMY figures off ebay.

That big Pikachu is a night light.

The Charmander tin (which as a child was one of a few boxes of random treasure that I had), contains (most of) the pieces to the Master Trainer board game. I've also got the board, but not the box.
